I question the title for this section of discussion; these particular questions strike me as being more for the members rather than being a brief for the incoming CD.

Surely the members should be the ones deciding how to appoint/fire the CD and so on. After the recent experiences with the last CD being fired before attending even one EC meeting, the new CD will want to know the answers to all these questions before they take up the job. No?
